Beauty Quest
Pontins is celebrating over 65 years of providing fun packed family holidays, and to coincide with the anniversary the renowned ‘Beauty Quest’ competitions have been relaunched.
There’s a whole host of competitions including: Miss Pontins, Junior Miss Pontins, Glamorous Gran, Lovely Legs and Bonny Baby. There are weekly heats held on all five Parks, with winners being invited back to the Grand Finals being held at Southport Holiday Park in November 2012.
There are great prizes to be won including a Champagne Spa Day for two at the luxurious Bosworth Hall Hotel & Spa, a Photo Shoot, and Pamper Days, as well as the traditional ‘Sashes and Tiaras’.
The competitions will run on Park twice weekly from May to September at all five Parks excluding special interest breaks.
Dance Quest
Age categories: 0-4, 5-7, 8-10, 11-14, 15-17, and 18+
If dancing is your thing, then make sure you enter the Dance Quest during your holiday at Pontins. Two competitions take place – a winner is crowned each week during the summer, and then a Finals Weekend takes place at the end of the year when all the winners are invited for a free holiday and compete to become the Grand Final Winner.
During the heats all competitors dance to a set piece of music, and if you make it to the Finals then you can select your own music to dance to. All types of dancing are accepted in the competition, as long as it goes with the music!
The competitions will run on Park twice weekly from May to September at all five Parks excluding special interest breaks. The Finals usually take place in November.
Talent Quest
Age categories: 0-4, 5-7, 8-10, 11-14, 15-17, and 18+
Through our Bluecoat Academy we recruit some of the most talented dancers and singers in the UK, but for this competition we want to see what you can do! Maybe you sing, juggle, dance, tell jokes, or something completely different? This competition is a whole bundle of fun, and will add a new dimension to your holiday experience.
If you’re good enough then you might just win the competition and then get invited back to the Finals Weekend at the end of the year to compete with the best of 2012. Great prizes are up for grabs so get involved!

Darts Quest
Do you fancy yourself as the next Phil “The Power” Taylor or Raymond Barneveld? At Pontins throughout the year we run regular darts events for over 18′s with a men’s and women’s competition.
You can register for the competition when you arrive (just ask a Bluecoat for help) and then the heats take place during the week. Depending on the number of competitors you could play around 4 or 5 games to get to the final at the end of the week.
The winners of all the competitions are invited back to Prestatyn Sands Holiday Park at the end of the day for a special Finals weekend where great prizes are on offer.

Snooker & Pool Quest
We also provide superb snooker and pool facilities, and this includes competitions during the year.
You can register for the competition when you arrive (just ask a Bluecoat for help) and then the heats take place during the week. Depending on the number of competitors you could play around 4 or 5 games to get to the final at the end of the week.
