Here at Pontins we are famous for our Entertainment. We do our best to bring you the greatest acts from all over the UK, and the world. With shows each and every night you and your family are guaranteed to be entertained.
Daniel Hunt and Annette Claire are Amethyst International Escapologists and Illusionists. Together they have worked alongside some of the country’s top performers and producers such as Freddie Starr, Ken Dodd, The Chuckle Brothers and The Grumbleweeds. Amethyst have had the honour of performing for the world famous ‘Magic Circle’, the ‘British Magical Society’ and for the ‘IBM’ British Ring, as well as featuring on several occasions at the world’s largest Magic convention held in Blackpool.Amethyst are highly acclaimed as one of the countries most unique and impressive acts of the 21st century, touring the UK and overseas with their spectacular shows. They have performed in some of the most prestigious venues and on some of the largest super liners around the world.
The duo have created two completely different shows, their first combines magic and illusion with song and dance. Their second features large scale, death-defying escapes, many of which have been designed for their show in America.
Best of British Wrestling is one of the leading wrestling events shows in the UK, which was originally formed in early 1996, and have organised shows and events all over the UK – even having their our own television programme, Wrestling Rampage on cable TV. Best of British Wrestling use only the best wrestlers that this country has to offer mixed in with foreign talent that is flown in especially for our tours. Stars such as Tiger mask & the Thunder Dragons have been brought in from Japan and from America wrestlers such as Hacksaw Jim Duggan, The Bushwhackers, The Honky Tonk Man, Earthquake and the legendary Jake the Snake Roberts.

Miss Beth McGarry is a born entertainer and has been performing many shows from a very early age. Beth gained her BA Honours in Musical Theatre from Newcastle Performing Arts Academy and took the role as a holiday entertainer, being part of many variety shows and learning many aspects of performance on the cabaret circuit. Over the past year Beth has performed Lady GAGA at holiday parks to much acclaim. She has just finished an international tour of Cyprus with her 2 dancers performing for hundreds of people from all over the world. She is now back in the UK and is looking foward to performing in the UK.

Danny Posthill has been making people laugh since the age of 16 after being talked into doing Impressions at his school talent show.
Since discovering his passion for comedy Danny has never looked back. His Versatile act caters for all walks of life with unbeatable stand up and a string of impressions such as Jimmy Carr, Billy Connolly, Lee Evans plus many more to guarantee a night of laughter you will never forget.
Despite his young age he has performed all over the world, working around the Mediterranean and South America plus summer seasons for Qdos Productions, flybacks for Thomson Holidays and numerous cabaret dates for Haven, Warners, Pontins and many of the independent holiday venues.
This act continues to go from strength to strength.

Funky Monkey are widely regarded as the best party band in the UK. They have built up an industry-wide reputation for delivering high-energy, edgy performances in their unique and unparalleled style. They are constantly evolving to ensure they are up-to-the-minute whilst still having one foot firmly in the great music of the past. Their on stage antics and ground breaking covers have fuelled many a fun-filled night for holiday makers, families, stag/hen parties, students and - on the odd occasion - politicians! They really are at the top of their game and nothing pleases them more than pleasing the crowd!
Members of the band have played on Top of The Pops, appeared on the X-factor and also performed at the 'Glastonbury', 'Reading' and 'T In The Park' festivals.
The show takes place in the dark and uses special lighting so the puppets glow and the puppeteers disappear into the background making the characters seemingly perform amazing illusions on their own! Featuring groovy puppets from 8 inches to an amazing 8 feet tall, you can expect plenty of songs and quick fire sketches in, what can only be described as, a ‘living cartoon.’
One of the most sought after comedy ventriloquists in the world with a huge array of characters including the comedy classic Lightening Les the underweight boxing champion of the world, Knuckles the biker and Louie the blues, Jim continually challenges the perception of the fascinating art of ventriloquism with the most entertaining audience participation you will ever see! One of the best technical vents in the world, Jim uses his incredible vocal skills and excellent comedy and characterisation to present a unique show. His approach to the fascinating art of ventriloquism and puppetry is something not to be missed.

Hailing from all corners of the industry, the individual performers who make up Re-Take That each bring their own unique qualities. Playing at sold-out venues to audiences of hundreds, Re-Take That has enjoyed phenomenal success to date, having secured a loyal following. “We have a great time touring all over Europe. The chemistry we have on and off stage is paramount to the success of Re-Take That. We have a ball!” More than simply a band, the Re-Take That experience is multi-faceted, combining huge personalities, vocals, dance routines, costumes and a spectacular light show. “We wanted to create a show so professional and accurate that if Take That themselves came to see it, they’d say, ‘wow!’”
Re-Take That, now recognised as what Bjorn again is to ABBA and Bootleg Beatles are to the Fab Four, is currently creating a theatre production which will be comparable to the real Take That’s Circus and Progress Live Tour. “ Our aim is to create the biggest and best show possible, whilst staying true to the feel of Take That. We want our audiences to experience the same emotions as they did during the real Take That concerts in the summer of 2009 and 2011. The ability to recreate the intangible aspects, and capture the very essence of Take That has put us where we are today. Shaun Fields was a support act for Bonnie Tyler in 2004, and was spotted by Take That founder Nigel Martin Smith. He worked with Nigel on various projects including Dance Tracks, Photo shoots and getting training from the best in the business.
Age 16, Shaun decided to take to performing professionally in different Venue's around the North-West, and turning 18 he moved on to become one of our world famous BLUECOATS, which included in him being on our Touring roadshow that involved performing all over the country in Holiday Parks & Festivals including touring with X Factors Same Difference.
2 Years on, finding the UK was too cold, he moved abroad, and began performing to different crowds in Rhodes, Cyprus & Egypt to different age groups.
Shaun is known for his Strong Vocals, entertaining Stage Presence and definitely has the 'Moves Like Jagger.' You can catch him at our Pontins Parks throughout 2013.
The Nations favourite Teddy
The nations favourite teddy bear Sooty returns with his friends Sweep & Soo in a brand new show by the seaside.
Outstanding is the young, but experienced, Steve Hewlett. This remarkable ventriloquist, an Eastbourne resident, introduces a range of puppet ‘friends’, such as balding ‘Arthur’, hairy ‘Nacho’, and ’Pongo’ the Skunk. Frequently conversing and singing with two different ‘characters’ at the same time, and sometimes off-stage as well, this is a highly polished act, impossible not to admire and enjoy.
Four talented boys entered The X Factor as solo artists but were put together to form The Risk by the judges at Boot Camp. Their first performance was eagerly anticipated on the live show, and they didn’t disappoint with a slick version of Plan B’s “She Said”. In week two of the competition, The Risk impressed with tight harmonies when they sang “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars.
Musical comedy double act and comperes
Tim and Tony Strange combine the talents of established cabaret entertainer Tim Ames with those of popular actor and corporate compere, Tony Harris to give a new twist to the double-act genre. The Tim and Tony Strange Show brings together Tims sophisticated musical cabaret with Tony's anarchic surprise characters in an unstoppable, head-long collision.
